In Memory of
First Lieutenant Robert Edmund Coates

Let us not forget First Lieutenant Robert Edmund Coates, casualty of the Vietnam War. As a member of the Army, 1LT Coates served our country until February 7th, 1968 in Thua Thien, South Vietnam. He was 24 years old and was not married. Robert died from artillery fire. His body was recovered. Robert was born on March 31st, 1943 in New York, New York.

1LT Coates is on panel 37E, line 080 of the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. He served our country for 2 years.
